You
can't run from what you are. FingerCuff
unabashedly wear their influences and their life
stories on their sleeve. A shot Punk Rock and a
half pint Southern Rock, mixed with little
Americana combine like the ingredients to a good
stiff drink to provide the listener a needed break
from current corporate rock trends. FingerCuff's
music ranges from slide guitar driven "Catch
My Wave", to the melodic roots tinged
"Crack of Dawn", to the crashing power
chords of "Right or Wrong".
FingerCuff
songs focus on the hard won truths and realities
of living - relationships between men & women,
fathers & sons, love, lust, & obsession.
Originally formed in Hammond, Louisiana in 2001 by
Dino Lucius, Brent Lewis, & Ralph Wood.
FingerCuff started out as a trio. Scott Hargrove
joined the band in March 2003.
In October 2004 Ralph left the group and Chris is
now taking on t he drums. The
members of FingerCuff have been making music for
over ten years.

After bouncing around the bayou
rock 'n roll scene for years, Dino was reported
missing in action. There were rumors of him taking
a day gig, a symptom of his vast over-education.
It was also heard that he was dabbling in the
blues. But, as the millennium turned, he
resurfaced in the rock world, laying down the
bottom in FingerCuff. His sound, a mixture of Noel
Redding and Dee Dee Ramone, is a bi-product of his
influences of straight ahead rock ‘n roll (Lynyrd
Skynyrd, Black Crowes, Concrete Blonde, and Janis)
and dirty low-down blues (Buddy Guy, Freddie King,
SRV, and The North Mississippi All-Stars). Dino
firmly believes that: "it's not Bass unless
you can feel it in your chest, and it's not a rock
song unless someone dies, is drunk, or is very
pissed-off."
Chris
Ramghun, a professionally trained and fulltime
musician from Mandeville, LA. Chris has 4yrs of
classical and symphonic music training from the University
of Southeastern LA. He has also privately taught
drums and has played for such bands as Driver 8
and Lucky Bridgewater.
Scott
Hargrove, a formally trained guitarist, draws
influence Jimmy Page, Angus Young, &
Rossington / Collins / Gaines. His sound is both
muscular and textures making it completely unique
and a perfect for FingerCuff.
Brent
spent equal time skateboarding and playing guitar
while he was growing up. His vocals are both
melodic and gruff, a whisper to a scream, allowing
the music to surge and retreat. A straight-ahead
rhythm guitar, Brent anchors the music. Both Scott
and Brent have played in the Northshore band,
Lucky Bridgewater.

Disguised
as mild mannered professionals; an attorney, a
college professor, elementary P.E. teacher, and a
massage therapist, FingerCuff has been two-year
odyssey of rock-n-roll shows and minor brushes
with the law. Playing every show as if it might be
their last, FingerCuff has been storming
southeastern Louisiana clubs such as The Howlin'
Wolf, Spanish Moon, Checkpoint Charlie's,
Augustine's, The Thirsty Tiger and the Dixie
Tavern. FingerCuff's motto is no glam, no glitz,
and no bullshit.
